Animal by-products
Landauer Animal by-products was formed in 2005 from the merger of two highly respected names in the market place: J.C. Gilbert Ltd. (trading in raw materials such as animal bones, ossein and hoof and horn meal) and Marcuse Glues & Chemicals Ltd. (agents and traders in animal glues and edible gelatins).
In recent years EU legislation and requirements have tightened greatly. We at LAB pride ourselves of not only our knowledge of international trade and markets but also the complex certification and documentation required today.
In addition to this we take pride in understanding both process technology and scientific product analyses which can be of assistance to our clients. Our regular visits to production units across the world have contributed greatly to this.
Recently we have narrowed our field of activity and now specialise in bone products and animal glues/technical gelatins sourced from around the world.
