Fibres

The Fibres Division was the original Landauer activity in the 19th century and continues today trading sisal and hemp.

Raw sisal is sourced from East Africa and Madagascar and is sold to manufacturers of rope, harvest twine and paper products.

Hemp from the Philippines and Ecuador is sold to manufacturers of cordage and of speciality papers, in particular teabags, sausage casings, and base papers.

John Harrison and Carol Evans have between them at least sixty five years of fibre experience with Landauer.
